About the Position

We're looking for an experienced automotive technician who takes pride in doing the job right. At Modern Brake & Alignment, we work as one team to provide exceptional service to our customers while maintaining an organized, process-driven shop that keeps work flowing and technicians productive.

What You'll Do
- Perform accurate inspections and diagnostics on a wide variety of vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair engine, brake, steering, suspension, electrical, and drivability concerns.
- Complete maintenance services including oil changes, tires, alignments, and brake repairs.
- Clearly communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations to the service advisors.
- Produce high-quality work efficiently while following shop procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
Qualifications
- Professional automotive repair experience required.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Commitment to quality workmanship, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Modern Brake & Alignment Shop was founded in 1964 by Richard I. Ray (Ivan), built on a foundation of honesty, hard work, and service to the community. In 1972, his eldest son, Kevin M. Ray, joined the family business and continued the tradition of excellence for decades.
In 2022, Kevin retired and proudly passed the torch—selling the property and business to his daughter and son-in-law, Liberty and Timothy Canady. Today, they continue the legacy with the same commitment to integrity, quality, and customer care that has defined Modern Brake & Alignment for over 60 years.
